About Me

Hi, I'm Melanie,
a National Board Certified
Health & Wellness Coach.

I became a coach after my own experience with burnout. I spent years pushing myself harder, prioritizing performance over rest and achievement over my body's actual needs. Eventually the stress caught up with me: chronic tension, exhaustion, anxiety, and a body that was signaling it needed a different approach.

That shift changed how I think about wellness entirely.

High stress, high cortisol, chronic tension, bloating, exhaustion, and anxiety became signals I could no longer ignore.

Today I work with clients who feel pulled between the pressure to keep going and the need to slow down. I combine my own lived experience with my NBC-HWC training to provide practical, personalized guidance that fits your life, not a one-size-fits-all formula.

My approach is grounded, supportive, and focused on what actually works for your life. I help you understand what your body and stress signals are telling you, and build habits that are sustainable long-term.

about wellness coaching

Wellness coaching is a forward-focused partnership built around creating sustainable habits in sleep, nutrition, movement, and stress management. I draw on Motivational Interviewing, Positive Psychology, SMART goal-setting, and Behavior Change Science, not to tell you what to do but to help you figure out what actually works for you. We build on what's already going well and design small, meaningful shifts that compound over time.
Therapy explores the past and processes deeper emotional or psychological patterns. Coaching is focused on the present and future, building habits and helping you make them stick. Many of my clients work with both a therapist and a coach at the same time, and the two complement each other well. I'm not a licensed therapist and I don't diagnose or treat mental health conditions.
High-achieving professionals, corporate leaders, and entrepreneurs whose health has quietly taken a backseat to performance.
